There are generally two types of hammer heads on the market: casting and forging, but their wear resistance is different. So what is casting? What is forging?
Casting is a process in which metal is smelted into a liquid that meets certain requirements and poured into a mold. After cooling, solidification, and cleaning, a casting with a predetermined shape, size and performance is obtained. The casting blank is almost formed, and the purpose of free machining or a small amount of processing reduces the cost and reduces the time to a certain extent. Casting is one of the basic processes of the modern manufacturing industry.
Forging: A processing method in which a forging machine is used to apply pressure to a metal blank to plastically deform it to obtain a forging with certain mechanical properties, certain shape and size. One of the two major components of forging (forging and stamping). Through forging, defects such as as-cast looseness produced by the metal during the smelting process can be eliminated, and the microstructure can be optimized. At the same time, due to the preservation of the complete metal streamline, the mechanical properties of forgings are generally better than those of castings of the same material. For important parts with high load and severe working conditions in related machinery, forgings are mostly used in addition to rolling plates, profiles or welded parts with simple shapes.
The hammers of the crusher produced by Gongyi Dingcheng are made of high wear-resistant materials, which is 20% higher than the wear resistance of ordinary hammers, which greatly reduces your maintenance and use costs and brings you the greatest benefits.
