Heavy duty high chromium iron wear resistant castings Composition:

Typical composition: 2.0%–3.2% carbon, 18%–28% chromium, matched with molybdenum, manganese and nickel elements, forming hard chromium carbide phases for heavy‑duty anti‑wear performance.

Features:

Ultra‑high surface hardness up to HRC 58–65 after professional heat treatment. Excellent resistance to abrasive wear and high‑stress impact wear from hard ore, granite and iron ore. Good overall toughness to avoid fracture under heavy crushing load. Dense internal structure with stable metallographic phase. Outstanding service life in continuous heavy‑load mining crushing environments.

Limitations:

Higher cost than ordinary manganese steel castings. High hardness leads to poor machinability. Not suitable for strong corrosive working environments.

Applicable Scenarios:
