When upgrading from HARDOX 500 steel to this product, the Brinell hardness is increased by 50 units, and the wear life is extended without losing the toughness of the steel plate.
The HARDOX 600 is the world's hardest wear-resistant steel plate with a hardness of 600 HBW. It is generally used in applications where wear is extremely severe and is mainly used to replace cast steel, chrome cast iron and case hardened metals.
