1. Introduction:
Tantalum can be used to make welded and seamless pipes and has a wide range of uses. The seamless
pipe is manufactured by using extrusion, reducing the diameter of the pipe or deep drawing with a sheet.
The manufacturing method of welding is to first form a strip, then form a tube, and then weld the seam by
gas tungsten arc (GTAW).
