Molybdenum foil is widely used in aerospace, electronics, lighting, medical equipment, vacuum coating, electric vacuum stove electrode, heat insulation screen, etc as the radiation shielding material and radiation-protective equipment. Features: 1.Molybdenum foil adopts the material Molybdenum with a high purity of 99.95% and density close to 10.2g/cm3( theoretical density) ; 2.Surface of Molybdenum sheet has metallic silver luster; 3.Its radiation shielding effect is equivalent to that of lead plate; 4.Molybdenum sheet is much easier to machine than lead. The sheet can be cut or holed with home-use scissors, formed into shapes with any curved surface; 5.It is soft, retractable, foldable, and durable to bear repeated bending; 6.Molybdenum foil is easy to handle and no pollution risks; 7.It has excellent thermal plasticity. Therefore it's possible to form into shapes having cylindrical or complicated curved surfaces; 8.Molybdenum foil from Achemetal is under vacuum annealing and leveling before delivery.
