Tin Bronze Properties
Bronze with tin as the primary alloying element (3-14% tin content), primarily used for elastic components and wear-resistant parts. Deformed tin bronze contains up to 8% tin, with optional additions of phosphorus, lead, and zinc. Phosphorus acts as a deoxidizer while improving flow and wear resistance. Lead enhances machinability and wear resistance, while zinc improves casting properties.
This alloy features high mechanical properties, excellent anti-wear characteristics, superior corrosion resistance, easy machinability, good brazing and welding properties, minimal shrinkage coefficient, and non-magnetic properties. Suitable for applications including bronze bushings, bushings, and antimagnetic components prepared via wire flame spraying and arc spraying.

  • QSN4-3: Corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant parts, antimagnetic components, and springs
  • QSN4-4-2.5: Friction parts including bushings, bearings, and discs
