Metal linings have high strength and excellent wear resistance. They are specifically designed for ball mills processing hard materials such as ore and metal slag, making them the most widely used type in industrial applications.
High Manganese Steel Lining
  • Composition: 10%-14% manganese content, 1.0%-1.4% carbon content, austenitic steel
  • Features: Excellent toughness with work hardening capability under strong impact or extrusion
  • Performance: Surface hardness increases significantly (HB200 to HB500+) while maintaining core toughness
  • Applications: Coarse and medium grinding stages, ball mills processing hard rocks like granite and iron ore
High Chromium Cast Iron Lining
  • Composition: 15%-30% chromium, 2.0%-3.5% carbon, contains Cr7C3 hard phase structure
  • Features: Extreme hardness (HRC55-65) with 3-5 times better wear resistance than high manganese steel
  • Applications: Fine grinding stages, low impact conditions, processing cement clinker and limestone
Low Alloy Steel Lining
  • Composition: Alloy elements including Cr, Mo, Ni, V with total content under 5%
  • Features: Balanced hardness (HRC35-50) and toughness with excellent overall performance
  • Applications: Medium impact and wear conditions in mineral processing and building materials industries
