High Corrosion Resistant Stainless Castings Composition:
Designed with high Cr, Ni, Mo, N and Cu alloying elements. Typical composition: 18–26% Cr, 8–22% Ni, 2–7% Mo, 0.05–0.25% N, ensuring PRE ≥ 35–48 for extreme corrosion resistance.
Features:
Excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, stress corrosion cracking (SCC) and intergranular corrosion. Outstanding performance in chloride, acidic, alkaline and seawater environments. High mechanical strength and good structural stability. Balanced toughness and hardness for long service life. Suitable for wet, corrosive and slurry conditions.
Limitations:
Higher cost than conventional stainless steels. Some duplex grades require precise heat treatment to maintain phase balance. Not recommended for extremely high temperature over 350°C.
Applicable Scenarios:
Pump casings, impellers, valve bodies, flanges, pipe fittings, heat exchanger parts, marine hardware and chemical equipment components.
