CD4MCuN Duplex Stainless Corrosion Resistant Pump Casings Composition: Duplex stainless steel with nominal composition: 0.04% max C, 24.0–26.0% Cr, 4.5–6.0% Ni, 1.5–2.5% Mo, 2.5–3.5% Cu, controlled ferrite content 30–50% for balanced toughness and corrosion resistance.
Features: Outstanding resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking (SCC), pitting and crevice corrosion. Excellent erosion-corrosion resistance for slurry and fluid-particle mixed media. Higher strength and rigidity than standard 316L stainless steel. Good weldability and mechanical stability. Balanced austenite-ferrite microstructure ensures long service life under heavy-duty corrosive conditions.
Limitations: Not suitable for extremely high-temperature applications above 300°C. Requires strict heat treatment to maintain ideal phase balance. Higher material cost compared to conventional cast stainless steels.
Applicable Scenarios: FGD slurry pumps, chemical process pumps, seawater circulation pumps, mining slurry pumps, brine pumps, acidic transfer pumps and offshore corrosion-resistant pumping equipment.
