High corrosion resistant stainless castings Composition:

High chromium, nickel, molybdenum, nitrogen alloying design; typical 18%–26% Cr, 8%–22% Ni, 2%–7% Mo, 0.05%–0.25% N to achieve excellent pitting resistance equivalent (PRE ≥ 35–48).

Features:

Outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, stress corrosion cracking (SCC) and intergranular corrosion. Excellent performance in seawater, chloride, sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid and alkaline media. Good mechanical strength and structural stability. High ductility and weldability for reliable assembly. Suitable for long-term service in extreme corrosive conditions.

Limitations:

Higher material cost than standard 304/316 stainless steel. Some super duplex grades require strict heat treatment control. Lower thermal conductivity compared to carbon steel.

Applicable Scenarios:

Marine pumps & valves, seawater treatment equipment, chemical reactors, heat exchangers, flanges, pipe fittings, food and pharmaceutical machinery components, oil & gas exploration equipment.
