Corrosion-Resistant Castings Composition

316L Stainless Steel: ≤0.03% carbon content, 16%-18% chromium content, 10%-14% nickel content, 2%-3% molybdenum content, austenitic stainless steel; Cr25Ni20: 0.20%-0.30% carbon content, 24%-26% chromium content, 19%-22% nickel content, excellent high-temperature corrosion resistance; High Chromium Cast Iron (HC270): 2.2%-2.8% carbon content, 26%-28% chromium content, 0.5%-1.0% manganese content, good corrosion and wear resistance; Hastelloy C-276: 0.01%-0.03% carbon content, 14%-16% chromium content, 57%-63% nickel content, 15%-17% molybdenum content, super corrosion resistance.

Features

Excellent corrosion resistance, able to resist erosion from acid, alkali, salt, high-temperature flue gas, marine water, chemical media and other corrosive substances, adapting to various harsh corrosive environments.
High strength and toughness, dense internal structure after casting and heat treatment, no pores or defects, able to bear certain load and impact.
Good wear resistance, while maintaining corrosion resistance, it can resist friction and wear from solid particles and media, reducing replacement frequency.
Stable performance, long service life, effectively reducing equipment maintenance cost and downtime.
Customizable specifications and shapes, able to meet the needs of different equipment and corrosive working conditions.
Easy to process and install, matching the connection mode of various equipment.

Limitations

Corrosion-resistant alloy materials have higher production costs than ordinary cast steel, especially super corrosion-resistant alloys (such as Hastelloy).
The casting and heat treatment process is complex, requiring professional equipment and technical team.
Welding performance is poor, welding requires special processes and post-weld heat treatment to avoid cracking and ensure corrosion resistance.
Some corrosion-resistant materials (such as stainless steel) have poor high-temperature resistance, not suitable for long-term work in ultra-high temperature environments (above 1000℃).
In ultra-strong corrosive environments (such as concentrated acid and alkali), the service life will be affected.
