Our Photos Corrosion Resistant Pump Casing Castings:
Corrosion resistant pump casing castings Composition: Designed with high chromium, nickel, molybdenum and copper alloy elements; typical 16%–26% Cr, 4%–8% Ni, 2%–4% Mo, with balanced carbon and silicon to ensure corrosion resistance and structural stability.
Features: Excellent resistance to acid, alkali, salt, chloride ion and seawater corrosion. High structural strength and pressure bearing capacity. Smooth inner surface to reduce flow resistance and cavitation. Stable performance under long-term corrosion and erosion conditions. Good weldability and machinability for easy installation and maintenance.
Limitations: Higher cost than ordinary cast iron pump casings. Some high-alloy materials have lower thermal conductivity. Not suitable for strong oxidizing media such as concentrated nitric acid without special material selection.
Applicable Scenarios: Chemical process pumps, seawater pumps, brine pumps, acid transfer pumps, slurry pumps, sewage pumps, pharmaceutical and food grade pumps in corrosive working conditions.
