Custom Manganese Steel Castings for Crusher Composition: Mn13: 11%-14% manganese content, 1.0%-1.4% carbon content, austenitic steel; Mn18: 16%-19% manganese content, 1.0%-1.5% carbon content; Mn13Cr2: 11%-14% Mn, 1.8%-2.2% Cr, 1.0%-1.4% C; all are austenitic manganese steel with work hardening performance. Custom formulas can adjust Mn, Cr, C content according to crusher type and working conditions.
Features:
Excellent toughness and work hardening performance, work hardening will occur quickly when subjected to strong impact or extrusion during crushing, surface hardness increases significantly from HB200 to HB500+ (even HB600 for Mn18), while the core maintains good toughness, not easy to crack or break. Superior wear resistance, suitable for high-impact crushing of hard materials, service life is 2-3 times longer than ordinary alloy steel castings. Tailored customization, can be designed and produced according to crusher model, working conditions (material hardness, crushing intensity) and customer drawings/samples, perfectly matching crusher installation and operation requirements. Good corrosion resistance, can adapt to wet and mild corrosive crushing environments (such as wet ore, limestone with moisture). Excellent dimensional accuracy, strict control of machining tolerance, easy to install and replace.
Limitations:
In low-impact, low-stress wear environments (such as fine crushing of soft materials), the work hardening effect is poor and the wear resistance is insufficient. Welding performance is poor, repair requires special welding materials and professional processes. High manganese content leads to higher cost than ordinary carbon steel castings.
