Heat-Resistant Stainless Steel Castings Composition

310S: ≤0.08% carbon content, 24%-26% chromium content, 19%-22% nickel content, austenitic stainless steel, excellent high-temperature resistance; 321: ≤0.08% carbon content, 17%-19% chromium content, 9%-12% nickel content, titanium-stabilized, anti-intergranular corrosion; 253MA: 0.05%-0.10% carbon content, 20.0%-22.0% chromium content, 10.0%-12.0% nickel content, high-temperature strength and oxidation resistance; Cr25Ni20: 0.20%-0.30% carbon content, 24%-26% chromium content, 19%-22% nickel content, applicable to high-temperature environments up to 1200℃.

Features

Excellent high-temperature resistance, can work stably for a long time under 800-1200℃ high-temperature environment, no deformation, oxidation peeling or cracking, maintaining stable mechanical properties. Strong anti-oxidation performance, forming a dense oxide film on the surface at high temperature, effectively preventing internal metal oxidation and extending service life. Good corrosion resistance, able to resist corrosion from high-temperature flue gas, chemical media and other corrosive substances in industrial environments. High strength and toughness, dense internal structure after casting and heat treatment, no pores or defects, able to bear high-temperature load and slight impact. Customizable specifications and shapes, able to meet the needs of different high-temperature equipment and working conditions. Easy to process and install, matching the connection mode of various industrial equipment.

Limitations

Heat-resistant stainless steel materials have higher production costs than ordinary stainless steel. The casting and heat treatment process is strict, requiring professional equipment and technical team to ensure high-temperature performance. Welding performance is relatively poor, welding requires special high-temperature welding processes and post-weld heat treatment to avoid intergranular corrosion and cracking. In ultra-high temperature environments (exceeding 1200℃), the service life will be significantly reduced. Some models (such as 304H) have poor high-temperature strength, not suitable for long-term work under high-temperature and high-load conditions.
