Our Photos Titanium Alloy Corrosion Resistant Forgings:

Titanium alloy corrosion resistant forgings Composition: Mainly industrial pure titanium and α+β titanium alloys. Typical composition: 5.5%-6.5% Al, 3.5%-4.5% V, balance Ti; low carbon, low impurity, high structural uniformity.

Features: Extremely high corrosion resistance, especially resistant to seawater, chloride, acid, alkali and oxidizing media corrosion. Light weight, high specific strength, significantly lower density than steel but with comparable strength. Excellent heat resistance and low-temperature toughness. Stable passivation film, long service life in harsh corrosive environments. Good biocompatibility, suitable for pharmaceutical and food equipment.

Limitations: Higher material cost compared with carbon steel and stainless steel. Low thermal conductivity, requires professional forging and processing technology. Poor wear resistance under dry friction conditions; surface strengthening required for wear working conditions. Welding requires professional operation and inert gas protection.

Applicable Scenarios: Marine equipment, offshore platforms, seawater desalination systems; chemical pumps, valves, heat exchangers, pressure vessels; oil and gas exploration equipment; pharmaceutical and food processing machinery; aerospace structural parts and high-end corrosion-resistant fasteners.
