Wear resistant castings for cement grinding Composition

12%-15% chromium content, 1.0%-1.5% carbon content, 0.5%-1.2% manganese content, 0.3%-0.8% molybdenum content, and are high-wear-resistance austenitic alloy castings.

Features

Excellent wear resistance. Work hardening will occur when subjected to continuous friction and extrusion during cement grinding. The surface hardness will increase significantly (from HB230 to HB580 or more), but the core will still maintain toughness. Excellent corrosion resistance, able to resist erosion by cement raw materials and additives. Good high-temperature resistance, suitable for long-term work under the high-temperature environment of cement grinding equipment (such as ball mills, tube mills).

Limitations

In low-load, low-friction cement grinding environments (such as fine grinding of cement clinker), the work hardening effect is poor and the wear resistance advantage is not obvious. High production cost and poor welding performance (easy to crack during installation and maintenance). High brittleness, easy to break under strong impact.
